Large Goods Vehicle Category C+E
(Articulated or Drawbar Vehicles)
Who is this aimed at:
Anyone wishing to drive goods vehicles over 3500kgs GVW with a trailer over 750kgs GVW.
Since January 1997 drivers are now required to pass Category C prior to taking a C+E course and test.
This licence will enable successful candidates to drive any articulated or drawbar vehicle.
To qualify for this you must hold a full category C licence and be medically fit and because of new legislation you can now learn to drive this vehicle from 18 years old.
Training is conducted on a ratio of two trainees to one instructor, as this is recognised by the industry as the best way to train and gain you licence. Generally courses run for five days with a test on the fifth day, however longer or shorter courses can be adopted to suit your own needs & requirements.
If required, intensive courses can also be conducted on a one to one basis.
All training is conducted by qualified instructors with numerous years of experience within the industry; they will help you all the way through the process to enable you to achieve your goal and gain your licence.
