CRH Apprentice Makes the News

CRH is extremely proud of one of its youngest members of staff Joshua Hetherington. Joshua has recently gained not only his Category C but Category D professional licence. At just 19 that puts him ahead of the curve for young drivers. Expect to hear more about Joshua and his achievements as he enters himself for both C+E professional licence and his Managers CPC. Joshua will also be CRH’s entrant into Apprentice of the Year 2011.

First Mercedes Benz CPC Course a Resounding Success The 20th September saw the delivery of the first Mercedes Benz CPC course in conjunction with CRH. The course was a resounding success with feedback and satisfaction soaring. The company in question wisely chose The Driving Safely Practical Course, thus combining classroom and in cab training. Charity Bike Ride in Association with DHL 2010

CRH once again sponsored a charity bike ride undertaken by many DHL staff. This year the journey took the riders all the way to Bonn in Germany, where DHL Head Office is based. The route, as always, was covered by the CRH Minibus.

CRH welcomed the return of the CV show on our doorstep at the NEC. The largest event so far CRH had an incredible turnout with many visitors and welcomed all the enquiries. Whilst Drivers CPC seemed to be main topic of discussion, it became clear that knowledge and understanding still needs to be disseminated.
