Certified 1 Day Emergency First Aid in the Workplace (FAA level 3 Award)

Where a workplace first aid risk assessment identifies a need for an Emergency First Aider in the Workplace, this one-day qualification meets the requirements of the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981 and the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 1982. Valid for three years.

This course is suitable for people aged 16+ who might need to provide first aid to someone who is injured or becomes ill while at work.

It is ideal for organisations whose first aid needs assessment has identified a requirement for someone to hold a current emergency first aid at work qualification.

Emergency First Aid At Work Course Description

Who should attend?

This course is designed for people who want to receive training in emergency first aid. It is especially suited for nominated first aiders in smaller, low risk working environments, such as small offices. The course covers first aid protocols for adult casualties only.

Our emergency first aid course gives learners the skills and confidence to respond to a range of accidents and first aid emergencies they could encounter in the workplace.

How long is an Emergency First Aid at Work course?

The course lasts one day and takes place in the classroom at our training centre in the West Midlands.

This first aid course provides basic life saving first aid skills and knowledge of workplace health and safety regulations, covering:
