I have great pleasure in recommending CRH for driver training.

After completing extensive nationwide reasearch into companies providing Category C and C+E training, I chose CRH for their absolute professionalism.

I had very little experience of driving large vehicles, the prospect was a little daunting, however, during practical training my concerns were dealt with immediatley and I soon had the confidence and ability to progress with ease.

My first challenge was to gain my Category C licence. I found my instructor, Jeff, to be extremely experienced and professional. Jeff's training style is relaxed and enjoyable, he has the ability to put you at ease with concise and understandable instruction. After just one weeks training I was more than ready for my test which I passed with confidence.

MY next challenge was Category C+E, Vince was my instructor, whom I found equally as competent and professional. Controlling an articulated vehicle is much more tricky than a rigid and requires much more training and concentration. Under Vince's valuable instruction I completed another extremely enjoyable weeks training before being tested. I'm pleased to say I passed with flying colours and I am now enjoying the open road with a wealth of knowledge and training thanks to all at CRH.

I recommend training with CRH and wish them success in training more LGV drivers to the high professional standard I am proud to have acheived.

A really enjoyable course.

Well presented by Chris Hetherington wth both good knowledge and also a fun element. The course covered a wide range of ADR subjects and was very enjoyable.

What a great experience I had last week on my driver CPC training. I did have a rough idea of what was involved, after speaking with a number of drivers who had already sat 1-2 modules, but not with CRH. Firstly, the location was excellent... all members of staff were gracious, polite, friendly and above all helpful.

The two members of staff who carried out the weeks instruction/tuition (Steve and Chris) were extremely competent and presented in an excellent fashion. It is quite clear after spending a week with CRH, how knowledgeable and professional you all are, especially the instructors. They both had a wealth of experience in what they were instructing us about,and at no time did they make me feel, or indeed others, any less important than they are despite their obvious knowledge and experience.

I feel that I am possibly a better driver, and quite obviously better informed,and probably it has given me more confidence and made me more aware that all my actions as a professional driver inevitably will have consequences. I did not want the week to end, I loved it, and my fellow drivers on the course alongside me for the week, all indicated to me the same sentiments. To my detriment, I dont normally email to say how well something has gone, or what good service I have received, but on this occasion I feel the need to do so.

My initial view on the Periodic Driver CPC was the normal tax on jobs,and people making money out of training drivers to do the job they were already doing, but this has now totally changed. I opted to do the 35 hours training in one go due to a foot injury which prevented me from driving, but I genuinely thought that I may not reach the end of the week without falling asleep.

I have to say that my views could not be further from the truth, I thoroughly enjoyed the week, the trainers were very, very knowledgeable, very easy to get on with and they made the week very enjoyable.I did learn a great deal, part of which I had forgotten, I know now how to do things with the Tacho which I had previously never been shown.

I have already recommended you to some of my colleagues, one of which will book a place with you after Christmas, and I am sure the others will follow suit. Your facilities and location make you ideal, and the help and assistance provided from all at CRH has been second to none, it has been well worth the money spent.

I am attending DCPC training course this week and felt I had to place on record the following:

I was initally nervous about attending the DCPC training having looked around for where it was best to complete the training, suffice to say I along with others have been putting this training off for some time.

I have been driving HGV vehicles for over 12 years and recently I have been working on the DHL contact at Hams Hall. This being on the Jaguar  Land Rover contract and to say the least is full on but very enjoyable. It was while here I met Steve and spoke with him at length about all aspects of driving and working here. I was very impressed with his knowledge and willingness to help and advise everybody here. As a result of this I requested the details of the formal training and then spoke with the office and booked up.

I just want to say that I would recommend your training, the people that I have met during this week could not have been more helpful, the environment and lessons were brilliant and the knowledge I gained will prove invaluable to me in the future. It shows the value of the CPC. I can also say that even though I am funding the course myself, it is such good value that I have booked further training with you.
